I’m not a morning person. At all. So I guess it makes sense the the first thing that came to mind with the theme ‘mornings’ was my cat, Morgen. She lives with my parents 2000 odd kilometres away, and Morgen is German for morning. Or tomorrow. But morning is more poetic I think. I was learning German when I got her and I practically read the entire German dictionary looking for an apt name. So since I can’t get an actual photo of her, and I don’t want to use an archived photo, here’s my solution.
Maisie is a morning person. Morning cat rather. She’s not allowed on the bench. She knows it, I know it. But I occasionally let her enjoy a morning sun beam… Shh, don’t tell Matt. I love her reflection in the window.
I’ve been a good breakfast eater lately. So here’s a boring morning photo… Just to break up the cat monotony.
